The union marks a significant step forward in reshaping the landscape of workplace and employee health and wellbeing by integrating comprehensive mental health services with proven, scientifically grounded workplace wellbeing programs.

The merged entity aims to leverage Be Well Co's expertise in mental health to deliver a more diverse range of services tailored to meet the evolving needs of workplaces across Australia.

The Oranges Toolkit CEO, Nicole Rogerson, welcomed the merger as a transformative opportunity for both organisations.

“By coming together, we are creating a market leader with comprehensive solutions that address the full spectrum of mental health and wellbeing challenges faced by Australian businesses and their employees, as well as community-based institutions that are looking to provide positive support for their stakeholders,” she said.

Be Well Co was created by the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) to translate mental health and wellbeing research into a range of in-person and technology driven solutions which are used in workplaces, community organisations and health services.

Dr Joep van Agteren, the co-founder of Be Well Co, says this partnership is an exciting strategic growth opportunity for both organisations.

“With increasing rates of mental health problems in Australian society, there is a need for new ways to help people live their best lives. By merging with the Oranges Toolkit, Be Well Co will be able to bring our combined solutions to more people and organisations that need them.”

Ms Rogerson says bringing these two organisations together provides wide-ranging benefits on a national basis.

“Our combined expertise will drive innovation with increased investments in research and development, leading to cutting-edge, evidence-based training solutions with measurable and impactful outcomes. Plus, the strengths and market presence of both companies will extend their reach, impacting a larger audience and integrating services across various industries.”
