Background:
Kari Sutton is a researcher, educator, writer, facilitator and keynote speaker with over 28 years’ experience in a variety of settings. She has a diverse background including holding a variety of different leadership positions at schools, working with the public service, community groups and the private sector delivering workshops and training as well as developing interventions aimed at increasing personal and professional wellbeing.
Kari has worked with over 25,000 children, parents, educators and other adults. She is the author of Raising Generation XXL and recently released Raising a Mentally Fit Generation. She is a member of the International Positive Psychology Association, the Queensland Guidance and Counselling Association, the Institute for Learning Professionals and Early Childhood Australia. Kari provides proven, real world, practical strategies that people can immediately implement to cultivate resilience, emotional wellbeing and positive mental health. Her qualifications include: M. Ed. Guidance and Counselling, M. Ed. Early Childhood Education, B. Ed. Early Childhood Education, B. Teaching Early Childhood, Diploma of Positive Psychology and Wellbeing and Graduate Certificate Inclusive Education.

Spending time in nature, especially at the beach.

Make sure it’s a good fit for you, it doesn’t have to be what everyone else is doing or the latest trend.
Outside of work:
Kari will be swimming, spending time at the beach and getting better at photography.
